Bureaucracy with benefits - Senior Software Engineer SiteMinder Employee Review

Thank you for your feedback regarding your experience at Siteminder. As you will have noticed our engineering and product teams have been going through an significant evolution over the last year. With over 200 people in tech and product, we had to build our leadership layer so we can continue to scale and support the development of our people. We've also moved from independent products with their own tech stacks and processes, to much more alignment and integration of our product. This has required aligning some of our tech stack and aligning our development processes. What this means is we can really focus on improving our developer experience along with growing our developer skills with the aim of providing a flexible long term career path for our people. All this said we know along the way we've not always got it right, but I am very happy to see that we are acknowledging our mistakes and responding to feedback from our people. We have a really exciting journey over the next few years and I am personally looking forward to seeing everyone in the business grow with this.
