Serious Oversight Needed - Sales Social Imprints Employee Review

Pros

Most of the employees are pleasant and hard working. Kevin M.

Cons

1st thing CEO is not Kevin. The problems start with number 1 CEO and move mostly down to his sidekick. I've worked in the promotional product industry for 15 years as a distributor and the lack of leadership, accountability, integrity, and honesty are appalling. The good ole saying pot calling the kettle black is an understatement. While I was there I personally witnessed this almost daily. #1 and #2 spend the majority of the day walking around or in meetings or taking breaks. Are you busy is the phrase of the day.

Pros

- Everyone works well and figure out issues as a team. - Different departments work closely together and makes things happen for the betterment of the company as well as the best interest of the clients. - Management is committed to transparency within the company. - The company is truly committed to its social mission as well as deliberately taking steps towards sustainability.

Cons

- There is definitely a big learning curve for new hires but not any different than what's to be expected in other companies in this industry.

Pros

The SI leadership team is supportive, empathetic, and constantly trying to improve. Best management team ever! The mission & vision is authentic and front of mind. Custom CRM system made for promo industry. It seems like SI is working on improving, I truly hope to see them succeed. The pace and pressure isn't for everyone.

Cons

Be ready to hit the ground running, and never slow down. The work-life-balance comments are REAL. Be ready to work 60+ hr weeks and dream about that long to-do list that never ends. Sales goals aren't based on real projections, hope your base pay is enough to cover monthly expenses. PTO & Sick time is very minimal for how hard you work - burnout is inevitable. Support Rating: 1 Star. You have to be on-top of warehouse & purchasing team to make sure each project is completed on time. Admin is offered but seemingly comes untrained, good luck finding time to train them.
