Pros
There were a lot of great things about working at Spoke. Because it's a fairly small company, hours and policies are flexible, so you can work from home, bring your dog in, or come in late now and then for an appointment as long as you're still logging your 40(+) hours a week. They've got a great group of people, especially on the creative side, and a lot of really good thought goes into many of their projects.
As someone new to the field, I was able to learn a lot and regularly get feedback from people with decades more experience than me, which was very valuable to me.
Cons
My biggest complaint about my time at Spoke was the lack of organization and communication about projects, deadlines, and expectations for me. I wasn't told up front that they expected me to be working more than 40 hours a week, and was only told at the end of my time there that that was an expectation.
I also think that the lack of organization is a part of the culture at Spoke that potential hires should be aware of, because it was fine for many of the people working there, but wasn't a good fit for me.
My other problem with Spoke was that their clients were scattered across many different fields and areas, and I didn't feel that I was able to dig in and focus on any particular project at once, though I think that this could be true of any marketing company, not just Spoke.
