Pros

CEO is smart and very encouraging Amazing products

Cons

So many! Where to begin? All department heads are micromanaged and have no real ability to make influential change. Employees are treated like they are disposable. People disappeared one-by-one and at first it was shocking to most of us but it became a "regular thing" so we are so used to seeing new faces in the office. Most employees have lost their passion for the work and are leaving or planning to leave. Leadership seems to be in a panic to build back trust with those who are still around but it feels unauthentic to say the least. Very little room to grow and advance your skill set. You roll-up you sleeves and wear multiple hats but efforts are unrecognized. It is unfortunate but this is how I see it, Unless someone quits, gets fired or dies, there is absolutely NO room for advancement We are overworked and company does not pay over-time but required deadlines and client demands are not feasible. You kind of feel abused. That's the best word to describe it.

Pros

It's always wonderful when you start a new job and there are emails in your account welcoming you. It definitely feels like family here from Day 1 which is especially helpful in an environment that is still quite virtual! Explanation of Benefits and Training is detailed with an open door to ask additional questions as needed. Happy to be here and that smile continues to grow larger daily.

Cons

I have yet to run into anyone or thing that has derogatory views.

Pros

There were great perks I experienced while working at the company. There were opportunities to take wellness walks every day for mental and physical health. There were also fruits, veggies and smoothies that were provided during the week. We also had catered monthly staff meetings. The best part about working at Sterling was the company trip to Maui--this was the best perk ever.

Cons

When I was working at the company, the workload was insane! Too much work for one department meant a lot of overtime worked. Not to mention, staffing was not sufficient for all the work that needed to be done. I had a supervisor who did not know much about what our department did so it was "different" knowing that I had to teach my superior his/her job. Was disheartening to see such a high turnover in upper management. Overall, it was very difficult knowing that I wasn't being compensated enough for the amount of work that was expected of me.
