The most I have ever been personally judged on every element of my life by my managers and peers. My managers were unbelievably intrusive and believed their opinions were the standard to which I should live my life. There were so many awful behaviors that now in hindsight I realize the weight of them, but at the time believed it was truly me who was the issue. It was unbelievably cult like and they get you right out of university so you don't know any better! I actually want to warn all those young impressionable adults that this company will pretend to support your personal goals, but they truly don't and they'll bully you to conform until you either do or break. It's not you, it's them that needs an outlook/ attitude adjustment, don't go against your gut, it's screaming for a reason with every ridiculous ask they have of you, because it's beyond what any manager should ever be asking, giving up weekends, giving up evenings, changing your wardrobe, etc.
