Pros
The people can be fantastic, decent discount, and good benefits. The stock plan is exceptional.
Cons
Politics. Telus has a huge office politics problem where if your supervisor doesnt like you for whatever reason you are gone. Pay is below average and now the work from home does not cover the difference (they love to say how it is such a benefit, except everyone is doing it now). There can be tremendous pressure depending on who your VP is and how high up you are (or your reports go). Work life balance is a bit of a joke on some teams because they are constantly understaffed and overworked. Also, be aware they do reorgs and restructuring at least once a year which means you can easily lose your job with little notice. People are frequently shuffled from departments and roles in these reorganizations which leaves gaps in knowledge and contributes a fair bit of stress.
