Pros

Small company, small teams, great benefits, good work/life balance, variety of work environments (on-site, hybrid, remote), decent equipment

Cons

They kept the bully - in the company there is at least 1 bully - and let the great people go. Mediocre pay - it's OK, but not great. May or may not get support you need to do your job. Mainly government contracts and everything works on government time which is exceeding slow and not geared toward getting things done. If you are applying for a job here, ask why the previous person/people left, what compelled them to abandon a job that has such a high rating from a lot of other employees.

Pros

I joined the company because of the small company feel, felt it had a culture that operated to support one another, and that I could see my career growing here as the company grew. I have been happy very happy with my decision for those reasons. Over my tenure, the company has seen steady growth. Like any other company, there are going to be pros and cons, but what is important to me is that the company is serious about its employees and its customers, and is always strive for growth and improvement. I have always felt that if I needed something - a mentor, exposure to new responsibilities, access to leadership, etc. - I have access to it. I have also enjoyed the team I work with and have made some good friends here too. The challenging times with several experiences of potential and now real shutdown, the reduction in work because of DOGE, etc. our leaders really rally to make the workplace a better experience. I also want to give kudos the CEO and his leadership. Many of my friends are in the same industry and as impacts of DOGE hit this year, many of their company cultures changed, or transparency in communication changed, but we still continue to receive regular updates from our CEO through monthly video messages, weekly company motivational and kudos messages, etc. We have access to connect with him and he is very responsive.

Cons

The contracting environment is challenging and can make getting communication down to employees sometimes difficult especially in these recent months.
