Pros

I have worked at The Nectar Group full-time for about 2 1/2 years. Working for this company is such a unique and rewarding opportunity! While the job responsibility of cognitive coaches is the same every day, each day is unique and there is never a dull moment! Each and every day you are able to make a positive impact on clients, which carries over into the standard educational classroom for them, and translates into long-term growth. I love working with the clients in a 1 to 1 setting, being able to give them individualized lessons and attention, as opposed to an entire classroom of students. I enjoy the staff I get to work with, along with the training and development opportunities. I feel like I take away great things from the trainings that will benefit me in my work, social, and emotional aspects of my life. Shortly after I started working for this company, I unfortunately had to move out of state. The Nectar Group was incredibly generous, flexible, and accommodating, providing me with the opportunity to continue working full-time for the company remotely. They also provide me with the resources to take business trips to Denver regularly!

Cons

This is not necessarily a con, but you need to be very flexible, in terms of going with the flow and understand that things may not be set in stone.

Pros

Clear, consistent schedule. Flexible with vacation days or days off.

Cons

Inconsistent help/mentoring for coaches. Many holes in company's communication. Underpaid for the rigor that is expected. Career advancement is over promised.
