Pros

I was at the midtown location. When I first started I was really impressed by the environment. Everyone was pretty welcoming and most people were extremely kind and talkative. At first, the managers seemed really nice. Kitchen staff was always super great. We got free food every shift and they were very accommodating and understanding.

Cons

I trained there for over a month making below minimum wage. It took a while because they couldn’t process my social security at first so I couldn’t start? It was strange and took weeks to actually start working. Then after my training and “mock service” they called and said they would not be moving forward with me. It was shocking because the whole time it had gone really well. I was never given any feedback to make me think I was not doing well. I only got positive feedback. I passed all my tests first try every time and I was literally taking tables completely on my own with no issues (and still not making tips cause I was training). After my “mock service” the manager called me and said there were “too many hiccups” in my mock service and so they would not be moving forward with me. I tried to get more info out of them but he just kept telling me that they just were not moving forward. I was so caught off guard. I asked for a second chance and they said no. I have worked as a waitress before and never had any issues, and I know what I’m doing! I would NOT trust this establishment. Don’t waste your time like they wasted mine.

Pros

Very strong product that it is easy to stand behind as a manager Great spoken values that underline a desire to make people happy and create great hospitality experiences Chances for people to grow, learn, and develop

Cons

Operations focus takes away from the emotional health of the place Management can be hostile, mean, choose favorites. Not easy to see them as people who actually care about their employees.
