Excellent company culture, nurturing environment that promotes self-growth. Recognition for quality work and accountability. Overall a very stable company that I've been very glad to be part of the past few decades.
Cons
Organizational changes sometimes throws off the stable paths. Mergers have caused some fluctuations in the stability & culture. Overall these changes are short-lived and overcome with time.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your thoughts. We appreciate your balanced views on our culture and working environment that you have gained over the last decade.
We receive continuous training to stay up to date with new state regulations and market trends. My colleagues make the day go by quickly. The benefits are very reasonable. There is room for career growth if you know how to network. I appreciate their consistent push for community volunteer opportunities.
Cons
The personal lines department seems to be falling apart right now. Issues with the internal systems are resulting in underwriters doing multiple jobs and becoming a dumping ground for all agent issues even if they aren't underwriting related. I don't feel that the directors are truly expressing to the senior leadership team the impact that all these issues are having on the mental health and quality of life for the employees that are on the front lines trying to maintain a good reputation for the company. It's sad to see how quickly this department has gone downhill and the amount of quality underwriters that are jumping ship for different departments or different companies all together. What's even sadder it that no one with authority seems to care, or listen, when concerns are brought forth. I truly advise anyone considering applying for any position within the personal insurance department to hold off until things start to change - it's not worth the mental anguish that you'll experience.
