Pros

I wish I couldn’t leave this blank, There aren’t any.

Cons

Company is sexist. When they found out I requested a maternity leave they went through all of my calls dating back the last 6 months to find any mistakes I may have made that they could fire me for. Well after a month of searching they finally found something and then wrote me up for it and I felt the write up was enough because I had never been in any kind of trouble the entire time I’d been there 11 mos. Well instead the manager decided to recommend that I be terminated for this single issue which was merely a miscommunication because we were fully trained remote. (Even though hired for in office). DONT BOTHER with a company that fires employees a week before they give birth.

Pros

I love working for Travelers. It has a strong culture built on integrity and collaboration. Leadership is visible, accessible, and genuinely invested in the success of the business and its employees. There are real opportunities to grow your career here — the company promotes from within and supports professional development in meaningful ways. I've seen colleagues advance significantly, and I've had the same opportunity myself. Travelers truly cares about its customers and the value insurance brings. Great team atmosphere and tremendous co-workers. **Cons:** The pace is fast and the workload can be demanding, especially in Claims. This is not a 9-to-5 environment, and candidates should come in knowing that. That said, the expectations are clear and the work is meaningful. **Advice to Management:** Keep doing what you're doing. The culture and leadership here are genuinely differentiated — don't lose that as the company continues to grow.

Cons

I don't consider it a con but some might - the pace is fast and the workload can be challenging, especially in Claims. Company is cutting edge so you should be prepared for change and continuous development to meet the business environment. That said, the expectations are clear and the work is meaningful. If you like to be challenged this is a great place to have a career.
