Pros
I have worked with several bigger agencies in the past and though they can provide more than True North, I think on a scale basis, you can get more here. At True North, your peers actually value your ideas, and everyone has an essential role to play because it is a smaller agency. Depending on your life and work styles, this may or may not be the right fit for you. Personally, I like it because of the laid back vibe, and all the really talented/educated people here. As someone has mentioned before, you really get what you put into it... and that's true to a certain degree, but I think some of the higher ups / management will try to push you to bettering yourself. I also feel like the people who work here are more like friends than coworkers, so if you dig chill vibes, this is a place to be. Overall, I'd say that it feels more productive here because I personally work better when I don't have someone constantly looking over my shoulders or checking up on me on a daily basis. The salary is fair to me, as for being below market I'm not sure that is true because you may be comparing larger companies that might work you longer. I've never had any issues requesting software or speaking to management.
Cons
I'd say the only con would be that HR isn't always responsive. Beth is a nice lady though, I've met her maybe once or twice when visiting the NY office.
