      Pros

      The best reasons to work for UPS is great health benefits, career advancement and stability. More over this company will give you time off when you need to go to school. For example, some of the workers can get two days out from the week to go to school and still gets the full benefits.

      Cons

      The downsides of working for UPS is the labor part. Majority of the new workers do not make it in the first three months, it is extremely hardship and contains a lot of energy to finish the tasks. Furthermore, the pay in the beginning will be only a little bite more than working in the fast food links.

      Pros

      THE DRIVERS! they were so nice. Not afraid to give advice, I really liked the drivers, the only ones I had contact with. All were good at their job, etc

      Cons

      Cold. So this may be only part of the country, but omg, I would have to get paid $100 an hour to work basically your whole shift in 30 or below weather. Before calling me wuss, ask if your winter experience is segments of running to warm place to warm place or hrs in the cold.

      Pros

      The pay is excellent .health care is 100 % paid with 100 %coverage...with exception to eye and dental which is about 70%..coverage...pension is outstanding..full package with wages and benefits is worth 130,000 yearly..without a college education I am grateful for the standard of living UPS HAS AFFORDED ME AND MY FAMILY!...and with 27 years of service I now get 6 weeks vacation with 8 sick days..and 9 paid holidays...we work hard like many people in the work force but we are well compensated!.

      Cons

      The only con is while your children are young you give up a lot of family time..I never got to watch my kids play sports and missed a lot of their growing years...the job can be hard on your home life but if you can make it through those years you and your family will enjoy the financial freedom that UPS provides...and now I look forward to a prosperous retirement!...so hang in there all you young drivers...
