Pros
Benefits. The USAF provides good health care benefits. It's not always the best but the cost is unbeatable. They also offer tuition assistance and the GI Bill. If you like to travel you will do that a lot from here.
Cons
If you perform well you will work extra. If you show you are capable you will get more duties. If you work extra hours to catch up on a backlog of task you will be given more tasks and your team will lose members because you seem to not need them badly. Their IT infrastructure is crumbling. I won't go into details here but you will frequently find that basic computer tasks become impossible because of systematic issues. Diverse people join the United States Air Force but diversity initiatives where literally cancelled by leadership at the highest level. I don't have hopes for any diversity in the future.
