Pros

Great company to start your marketing career and gain multi-brand experience Given a great deal of autonomy and leadership opportunities early-on Solid marketing training for new MBAs Extremely well-respected marketing organization with powerhouse brands Many international opportunities into U.S. Smart, hard-working, professional peers Business casual dress code Employee-paid shuttle van from Manhattan to NJ location

Cons

Close to no opportunity at Director level or higher Career development can be too political Imports Manager+ talent from outside U.S. for U.S. roles (cheaper) Consolidation has led to extremely heavy workloads Bureaucracy can hinder speed Not very innovative Not enough cross-pollinization between Foods & Personal Care

Pros

Great people, strong brands, and a lot of ownership. I’ve had opportunities to manage large spend portfolios, lead cross-functional projects, and work with teams across Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and R&D. The company invests in development and provides exposure to senior leadership that can help accelerate your career.

Cons

Performance and rewards don’t always feel aligned. High performers can sometimes feel underappreciated, and career advancement can be slower than expected due to organizational complexity and internal politics. Decision-making can also take longer than it should because of the number of stakeholders involved.
