Pros

Cool-looking office. You can bring your dog.

Cons

Helmed by a revolving door of absentee and disinterested management, Unlock is an object lesson in how not to run a company. A lack of structure and accountability leads to open hostility between departments. Unclear requirements and conflicting approval processes lead to work that runs over schedule and over budget, with the employees doing the work taking the blame. There is no investment in personal or professional development. There is barely even any recognition from company leadership that they are remotely responsible for the well-being of the people who are devoting their working days to their service. Employees are just another commodity to be consumed, then discarded when no longer useful. Some things I personally witnessed during my tenure: - Coworkers crying at or under their desks, - employees unceremoniously dismissed with no cause or warning, - colleagues confiding that they were in therapy or taking medications to deal with the work environment. If you really need a job, this is a place you can work. But know you are just a number here. And watch your back and sleep with one eye open, because if you don't, you will be backstabbed at the earliest opportunity.

Pros

"Unlimited" PTO, but that's just to avoid paying out earned PTO when they inevitably lay you off or fire you for random reasons

Cons

Leadership clearly doesn't understand how to organize teams and manage people. They say they're a people-centric culture, but everything they do says the opposite. It's clear that this company only values profit above everything else since they're owned by private capital. Also, there is NO diversity in leadership. ZERO. It's all white people and it's clear how favoritism, especially surrounding race, plays a part in their hiring decisions, and who to keep around.
