Pros

My specific little team had a good culture, co-wokers and good bosses. But I believe they will be dissolving my team very soon.

Cons

There were some issues before the merger with PLTFRM but things got significantly worse. - No support in big company wide transitions (basically told not my issue to figure out) - My team was constantly demoralized my team from C-suite - No actual fixing of issues, just pressure on employees who have no decision making power - Unprofessional client behavior towards employees was not dealt with on multiple occasions (client got discounts instead) - Nepotism is rampant - Ideas, suggestions, warnings, etc were often ignored - Overvalue of "hustling" aka working until early am hours - Tech was super outdated and caused a lot of problems (getting better) - Over reliance on AI - Forced use of AI when not good or efficient - Promised raises/promotions for years before they actually do - Raises/promotions don't even cover cost of living - Pay isn't good enough for the crap your are put through

Pros

Great coworkers Flexible environment (with caveats) Good client relationships

Cons

Below market pay - you have to fight to get average pay here, even when upper management are granted absurd salaries High scrutiny - advertising, PM, and other verticals are held under intense scrutiny, whereas other teams are frequently allowed to slack (account managers) Double standards - the LA team has far more freedom and far less work, they frequently take mid day breaks to do yoga, errands, extended lunches, etc. The AR team barely has time to eat... Lying to clients - lost of false promises made to clients that you're expected to uphold, even if its impossible. Additional issues with internal systems consistently causing overspend/underspend - all due to the hire of a cheap dev team No structure - no director, boss is disengaged. you really have to be your own boss - which doesnt sound bad... but it comes at an absolute detriment to you, the client, and your coworkers Overworked - multiple days and weeks of working till 8pm Nepotism - under-qualified/unqualified people are hired just for their last name Upper Management - is entirely disconnected from whats happening across the country. doesn't believe you when you bring issues to them. unfairly holds the AR branch to a higher standard and is frequently angry and projects at that group Cult-like environment - you're seen as an outsider if you even consider leaving the company. while in the company - youll be essentially forced to proclaim 'Best Team in the Biz". CEO and others refer to the team as a 'family', which is an enormous red flag Zionism - no explanation needed
