Pros
- Pay is decent, but it’s because they know what a mess you’re about to step into - Beware is throwaway perks like “snacks”. Any agency in LA will offer this.
Cons
- First, the positive reviews here are fake. I’m predominantly leaving this review to highlight that, in case you can’t immediately tell by reading them. - The company has no understanding of modern creative, media, web, or project management. Everything is thrown together and no one follows best practices. - You will be overworked, your opinions will not be valued, and you will not be appreciated for your time and efforts. - There are NO learning opportunities, and no room for advancement. Just a select few people patting themselves on the back. - Projects and client agreements are notoriously under-scoped with minimal budgets and vague descriptions of what’s included. - Management brings on clients without the resources to manage projects, then blames the employees when the projects fail. Meanwhile, they continue to pile on the work and fight fires with the clients until the clients catch on and leave. - The company’s focus is DR TV, not brand work. This is not inherently a con, but they will not be transparent with you about this upfront. “Ecommerce” is a guise for TV media directed landing pages. - The company changes focus and direction every few months. The “start up” culture referred to in another review is because they haven’t figured out how to properly run their business yet, although they’ve actually been operating for 10+ years.
