Pros

The company is not joking about its culture of treating people with respect. Those you will come in contact with are friendly and willing to help and support you. The company has a strong mentoring culture and management wants to help you grow and develop in your career.

Cons

The company (especially the IT side) is extremely bureaucratic. Change happens at a glacial pace and the focus on process can be frustrating. The compensation is not bad for the cost of living in Northwest Arkansas, but is mediocre compared to other regions. Management does not always prioritize hard skills in hiring & development and not everyone carries their own weight.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
