Pros

High profile brand name Work life balance is respected most times You can seriously coast if you want to here

Cons

Inexperienced but entrenched or incompetent leadership that have obviously played the political game so well to be repeatedly promoted way beyond their skill level Millions of dollars thrown at contractors rather than building institutional knowledge and loyalty through investment in employees and compensation Below market compensation Overwhelming processes for everything Culture of politics and talking a good game rather than execution and delivery Revolving door of leadership Overall, a complete lack of a cohesive strategy across the company and the leadership changes result in constant changes in direction -- the processes are too rigid to support this and the net effect is terrible employee morale.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
