You'll learn and grow a lot, but you'll never be family. - Senior Manager Walmart Employee Review

Pros

High pay for the market, unique business experiences, ability to work on initiatives that impact people on a global scale, really smart co-workers, great energy.

Cons

Times are changing.... No job security. I worked for the company for almost 15 years, only to be shown the door. NWA is a bubble, so once you're persona non grata, be prepared to uproot your entire family to look for work elsewhere. Lots of associates being hired from Accenture - quickly becoming an "up or out" culture.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
