Pros
Pay is good for the area and this shift usually gets their full hours. This is a weekend shift 3x12's (36 hr work week) and can free up the weekdays to go to school or get a second job during the week. They are easy to to approve time for school if you have class on Monday. The people are nice to work with and the company overall makes good efforts to value employees.
Cons
High turnaround. 3/4 of the shift were less than 1 year and half were employed less than 6 months. The weekend shift isn't for everyone and the policies can catch some people off guard. 3x12 hr work shift Fri.-Mon. 12:30am-1:00PM but still depends on volume of work. Some days are as short as 8 hours, some are as long as 14 hours. Paid time off can only be accrued and accruing only starts after 3 months. Lastly, and most importantly, the Probationary period if you make any mistakes lasts for 6 months, and while they first explain there are separate categories for different occurrences, all those categories will combine at certain levels (Steps) and can easily add up quick if you don't be careful (4 Steps =termination). 6 months probation is a long time to be completely occurrence-free and each will extend the probation 6 months from the date it occurred.
