Pros

Better than minimum wage pay for truck unloaders. $7.80 starting wage.

Cons

Gruesome work load. Very hot. Your feet/back will always hurt. Constantly giving the truck unloading team more tasks to do, because other departments don't want to do them. Unethical/Illicit activities discussed at length by almost all employees. Unrealistic time limits put on truck unloading team. Overall very negative work environment. Younger employees are how you would expect them to be, very immature. Older employees have very negative attitudes towards younger employees and life in general.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
