Pros

I think that it's a good place to have come Cashier experience. The pay also wasn't bad considering that when I joined there it was a little bit above minimum wage. Although I don't know about now. The coworkers were also very nice.

Cons

The managers definitely need to be changed unless they change their attitudes because they weren't very organized and especially when I'm a cashier and I was in need for money/changes I was supposed to call them up and they would bring it to me but they took forever. Sometimes they never show up. The other thing is that even though they offer part time jobs but you have to work 8 hours a day for 3 days a week. It's not like retail stores or food places where you're allowed to work 5 hours a day. That's why I quit.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
