Pros

At first hours were full time, I was making a pretty good amount of money for the year $600-$800 every two weeks. Seeing many same people come in makes the job easy when those ones are compliant. Greeting people is a must and always having a smile, good attitude is important it’s what I strive for.

Cons

Changed me to part time when I needed the money no note and no warning. Will punish you with less hours with points. Won’t approve PPTO for attendance even when you use app and phone to call in. Lots of abuse from customers, mean customers who will cuss at you and harass you, just cause your doing your job. Lots of run outs and not a lot of security. One day I felt so scared when a mean customer came through the gates with his wife grabbed the receipt his wife gave me and hit my hand. No security came even though I called for them through walkie-talkie . I was just doing my job. Even thought you ask for receipt they don’t have to show you and even though you ask for your jobs sake. Greeting people and having a good attitude is very hard.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
