Pros

There are a handful of pros for working with Walmart. First, you can pretty much work anywhere, as there are thousands of locations across the globe. Additionally, in terms of compensation, you will be paid reasonably (in comparison to other companies), though it does come at a cost.

Cons

The largest complaint is the lack of acknowledgement from management. This is from within the store and the whole company itself, as rarely will your complaints be dealt with. You will be harassed by your management team, as they will often act as if they control you rather than actually act as a leader. You will not see your leaders assist you in any activities, as they are too busy micromanaging everything. The customers can be good and bad, though you will often have to be cussed out by customers due to Walmart's unfortunate policies.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
