Pros

There is an awareness about what the market needs. The team is connected to customers on a daily basis and very responsive to their needs. The founders built the company from the ground up and have a lot of knowledge about running a solid business.

Cons

There is a great deal of nepotism. If you aren't married to, children of, or close family friends of the owners career growth is limited. There is a big emphasis on culture fit which produces a fun but stunted workplace. The company is struggling to be a progressive start up but some tenured employees are dead weight.

It’s very encouraging and humbling to see your comments about our connection with our customers, your kind words about our leadership, and our understanding of the ecommerce space. Those are some of the most important aspects of a successful business, and to see that we’re on the right track is exactly what we would hope for. So thank you, we’re very grateful that you took the time to put this information out there for the world to see. As for your concerns about the relationships among team members, we want to make it clear that there is no preference or intentional push to hire friends or family members. The only preference we push for is hiring the right person for the job. When we make hiring decisions, we go out of our way to keep an objective viewpoint. We do our best to remove everything from consideration other than personality, experience, drive, and similar characteristics. Career growth has nothing to do with how you’re related to someone, but it has everything to do with how dedicated you are to the company. And of course, when we have people that are dedicated to the company and do amazing work, they become good friends with lots of people in the company. It’s unfortunate that this perception can be misconstrued but we hope more discussion and further growth in our leadership team will make that very clear.

Pros

The company values at WebLinc are everything you would want in a company. Just look up any press article about the amazing things WebLinc does from going green with solar panels, hiring refugees and training them to code, donating air mattresses to hurricane relief and more. Those values come right from the top of a family run business and it evident day in and day out that they owners of this company care about the important things in the world. WebLinc provides you the flexibility to get your work done on your terms. You are expected to do great work and when you do, you are rewarded with the full support of the company to achieve your personal goals, and spend time doing the things that are important to you in and outside of work. All of that manifests itself into a special culture. It's a work hard play hard mentality with great opportunities for anyone that buys in to that. I leave this company having made incredible connections and friendships Management is open to feedback and ideas for change and improvements. You will always have access to them and can trust they want to hear your suggestions.

Cons

WebLinc is probably not a great fit for everybody. Things are fast-paced, clients are demanding, and so is the work. Those who need constant guidance may have a hard time adjusting to the demands.
