Pros

1. Ethical business practices - take no short cuts mindset. 2. Employee programs - Global Assimiliation Program(GAP), WLC, One Voice(Abid, please bring it back) 3. Enterpreunial - Lets you to break things and try new ideas. 4. Good people - mid level - who slog themselves to get things done 5. Great campus - having worked at most of the TWICH companies, Wipro has some really good work places @ Bellevue, Mountain View, Dallas..etc

Cons

1. The old guard - VPs especially - which refuses to change or go - still behaves like its 90s. One o f the Veeps refused to meet a customer who was at Manager level despite the fact he was cutting us a $5M check. 2. Support functions especially HR . HR = Human Regulation. You only hear from them when there's any compliance issue - Training, Appraisal.. etc 3. Power Centers - Related to point # 1, Management types enjoy in exerting their power for minor things - travel approvals, not coming to meetings on time .. 4. Too many reviews - Again this is the only thing Management folks do all day- apart from being on a plane. Ask them for guidance on a deal and you'll get hackenyed answers.

Pros

Positive and supporting work culture where employees feel valued and respected. Team environment is very friendly and colleagues are always willing to help each other, which creates a collaborative atmosphere.

Cons

I would not 100% consider it as cons as its common thru most MNC's. But opportunities for fast career progression can vary depending on the project or team.

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
