Pros

Buildit people on the ground (NOT INCLUDING LEADERSHIP) are very nice. There are some talented smart people who work there (emphasis: NOT INCLUDING LEADERSHIP). For a while work from home policy was great, until they took that away too. Because of the constant lack of work, if you're lucky you may get some time to work on your side hustle if you have one. If you don't have a side hustle, there's no way you'll be able to survive this dump without losing a little bit of your soul. If you look at the good reviews on here, you will see that they were all written before summer of 2019. That's when things went south, really quickly.

Cons

Where do I even begin? I've never worked in such a toxic culture where leadership and your direct managers clearly have no business being in those positions. They're simply not qualified to lead sheep, let alone people. I'm talking specifically about the buildit CEO and one of the studio leads. You may be more qualified than people around you, but unless you're part of the exclusive list of management's favorites, you will be gaslighted, overlooked, and disrespected many times - behind your back. If you're lucky enough to have a colleague who is part of that exclusive club who can give you the inside scoop, that's the only way you'll know what's really being said about you, meanwhile leadership and management will tell you everything is peachy to your face. Honest feedback and constructive criticism are hard to come by, unless you can find that one semi-honest manager and probe them directly for the truth. In case you haven't picked up on this by now, nepotism is a very real thing, not just at Wipro but at Buildit too. I've seen good people do really messed up things to others in an attempt for self-preservation; the culture is becoming that toxic. I just talked about the culture of the company. The work is another joke. It's either you're left without work for months, or you're working on overdrive for months. It's really a coin toss. My advice would be "don't work there unless you are literally pushed into a corner and have no other option!" If that's what your situation is, I'm really sorry for what you're about to go through. Here's some advice to make your time there easier: 1. Cozy up to the buildit CEO as soon as you get there. He will still gaslight you, but at least you'll have opportunities to get on projects and MAYBE he won't talk as much crap about you behind your back. 2. Start a business and fill your life with things that make you happy outside of work. That's the only way you won't come out of this bitter and angry. The pay is decent, but the money is really not worth it. You can find a much better deal elsewhere. Wipro aleady has a bad reputation. Buildit brands itself as bring different than Wipro. That used to be the case, but not anymore. There's been so much turnover in leadership and the place is now unrecognizable (not in a good way.) Google Wipro and see for yourself. Buildit is now the exact same. As you can tell, I can't stand the company, and most of my past colleagues feel the same. But on the plus side, the job did wonders for my side business. I could really focus on developing my business because I was on the bench for a while, and most importantly, because I learned how to completely emotionally detach myself from the madness at work. Run far far away from here. But if you get caught in this hell hole...may the force be with you.

Pros

Positive and supporting work culture where employees feel valued and respected. Team environment is very friendly and colleagues are always willing to help each other, which creates a collaborative atmosphere.

Cons

I would not 100% consider it as cons as its common thru most MNC's. But opportunities for fast career progression can vary depending on the project or team.

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
