Pros

Its a good place for freshers to join specially if you are looking for a brand name. Also good place if you are looking for onsite apportunity.

Cons

For lateral joinee there is very little what this company offer. Don't expect any hike once u join max. you will get is 5-7% per year in India and at onsite there is no hike what so ever. For promotions you solely rely on the fact how good is your relation with your manager and not how well you performed. If you speak same language or you belong to same region as your manager your chances are golden. Managers only cares about your billing, they can even ask a developer to work as tester and vice versa.

Pros

Positive and supporting work culture where employees feel valued and respected. Team environment is very friendly and colleagues are always willing to help each other, which creates a collaborative atmosphere.

Cons

I would not 100% consider it as cons as its common thru most MNC's. But opportunities for fast career progression can vary depending on the project or team.

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
