Pros

There are some good people at Woodhouse, unfortunately almost none of them are in a management position. If you are friends with Jason Pittack you will do fine and end up getting promoted to a position you are most likely not qualified for. That's the only way to explain some of the promotions they offer certain employees.

Cons

This is an old school boys club because of the way Jason Pittack runs the company now. Lance cared about his employees, Jason cares more about looking like he cares. Luckily Paul Cech is there to actually run the business because without him I don't know if anything would get done. When I started there everyone was required to wear a shirt and tie. You would think the owner would lead by example and do the same. I don't think I ever saw Jason wear a tie. Luckily, management finally relaxed their dress code. Insurance benefits were extremely expensive and had a high deductible. For a company with this many employees it just doesn't make sense. Either they are getting a horrible deal from their insurance provider or they decided not to cover much of the cost for their employees.

Good employee appreciation as far as Christmas time goes. They send all employees a box of high quality meat cuts. Pay is pretty decent.

Cons

Some aspects of the business seem unprofessional/poorly managed.

Pros

Cons

They don't pay people enough and lose good employees after years with the company. No paid sick leave, it's just pto.
