Pros

There truly are some great people who work at Woodhouse. There are many community activities to participate in, if you choose to do so. They do a great job including family/spouses in company events, i.e. concerts.

Cons

A couple "Bad Apples" can ruin the work environment, and when those "Bad Apples" are in management, the company turns a blind eye. There are no women managers, with the exception of HR, and rest of the managers maintain a "Boys Club" attitude. There is a very 1970's vibe to how women employees are treated at Woodhouse.

Pros

They pay you every 2 weeks?

Cons

They don't pay technicians what they are worth, the director level management do not see technicians as worthwhile investments, store managers and above live a very nice life if you can make it into that clique. If you get promoted you can not get too big of a raise, as there is some weird view on you can't have too big of a % of a raise, even if that is what the title pays.

Pros

There are some good people at Woodhouse, unfortunately almost none of them are in a management position. If you are friends with Jason Pittack you will do fine and end up getting promoted to a position you are most likely not qualified for. That's the only way to explain some of the promotions they offer certain employees.

Cons

This is an old school boys club because of the way Jason Pittack runs the company now. Lance cared about his employees, Jason cares more about looking like he cares. Luckily Paul Cech is there to actually run the business because without him I don't know if anything would get done. When I started there everyone was required to wear a shirt and tie. You would think the owner would lead by example and do the same. I don't think I ever saw Jason wear a tie. Luckily, management finally relaxed their dress code. Insurance benefits were extremely expensive and had a high deductible. For a company with this many employees it just doesn't make sense. Either they are getting a horrible deal from their insurance provider or they decided not to cover much of the cost for their employees.
