Pros

#1 reason that makes me proud of working for World Wide Technology is the culture. I see and witness the culture everyday when i speak to my colleagues, my manager and peers from other departments. The best time to judge if culture isn't just a poster on the wall is during times of adversity. I have been in WWT for over 3 years now and i can state this with utmost certainty that WWT leadership and employees are a true testament to the culture and core values. There are enough historic and current traces of good culture that steers me forward

Cons

Like in any Big organization, there will always be exceptions who do not subscribe to good culture, there will always be elements somewhere in the line who do not align to the organizations values. When an good employee see's such people walking free inspite of exhibiting bad behaviour and mannerisms, then it introduces certain doubts in the minds of such good employees

Pros

Remote work was nice. Pay and benefits were decent.

Cons

- Toxic, toxic, toxic - Zero work life balance - Lots of back stabbing going on. Too many management changes. Everyone has to claw for things in a negative way to get anywhere. - Bro culture and a company founder who prays and preaches at company meetings? That should NEVER happen. - No inclusivity. They say DEI is important but when the leaders are praying and seemingly right wing that doesn't reflect. - "Great Place to Work" is a total scam. They basically make you do it, talk about it constantly, remind you to take the surveys, even say how to rate. It's disingenuous. - Over-worked and ran PM's too thin, then when you get too burned out to do your job effectively you're not supported. I was running multiple projects during the day and had another project that required 12 am, 2am meetings as it was an Asian customer. I had no balance, no sleep, zero support. Instead of mitigating it, they wrote me up because I forgot something trivial (so trivial I don't even remember what it was). I was so stressed my hair literally fell out! I was so grateful to have another company headhunt me so that I could quit. TOXIC!
