Pros

- Benefit coverage - Wellness spending

Cons

- Hope you have a good manager - They make it seem like they value work/life balance, but will ask to do things urgently after 5 pm and oftentimes coworkers were working late/early hours. - Everyone came off stressed and overworked in the engineering environment

Pros

Great coworkers who genuinely care about one another and many front-line managers do their best to support their teams despite constant organizational challenges. The company can provide valuable experience in sales, customer retention, and learning how to operate in a very fast-paced environment.

Cons

Compensation is far below market despite leadership positioning it as competitive, with commission structures that are unpredictable and often unattainable. Job security feels entirely dependent on management style rather than consistent standards, with some employees coached fairly while others are disciplined or terminated over minor mistakes. The sales organization creates significant downstream issues through aggressive sales practices, forcing retention teams into highly reactive customer conversations. Attrition is the worst I have experienced in my career, promotion into management often results in a pay cut for top performers, and the culture creates constant anxiety where employees feel like they are walking on eggshells. Top performers are often not the most skilled employees, but those who have learned how to manipulate loopholes and work around processes.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. While we're glad that you enjoyed working with so many great people during your time with us, we're sorry to hear that your overall experience was anything less than you had hoped for. We also hear your concerns about leadership consistency and compensation. We take management training seriously, and our leaders complete a full classroom curriculum and hands-on coaching evaluation before leading a team to help ensure fair, consistent support. When it comes to pay, we focus on providing a competitive total rewards package that includes health benefits, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and more. We invite you to share further details about your experience by emailing employeefeedback@yelp.com. We appreciate you sharing your perspective, and we wish you the best in your career.
