Pros

The people. Can't say this enough. There were, and still are some really amazing people at Zartico. Not only did I enjoy everyone I worked with, I know that I made lifelong friends through my time there. Flexibility: These reviews should be taken with a grain of salt. One persons definition of flexibility will not be the same as the next. I personally did not have a single manager at Zartico that didn't respect my time. They treated me like an adult, I got my work done and that was that. Like most remote companies, if I had an errand to run in the middle of the day, I was able to do it. Health benefits: Imo, the benefits the company was very good. Middle management: Directors, VP's, Senior managers, at Zartico were/are all top notch. Always felt respected, everyone was always an email away, my voice always felt heard. For a remote company, they did an incredible job making sure everyone felt like they knew each other through cocktail hours, slideshows, and company outings.

Cons

The cons I am listing pertain to me, and me only. Pay: I felt I was underpaid, but most of the people that I knew felt the were paid FMV. Lack of 401k match, this is relatively standard for a Series A startup, but matching 401k, even 2% shows you're invested in your employees. Layoffs: 2024 saw 50% of the company get laid off. It's a startup, it happens, but it's still a con. The transparency of when/how staff were let go was really poor, but to their credit, they formed a culture cabinet, listened to the voice of the employees and improved upon that, then laid off >70% of the cabinet. I would recommend Zartico to friends, but with the caveat that there are usually yearly layoffs.

Pros

Good people, policies and products. It’s a start up environment and only self starters with egos on check will be successful. That’s a good thing but not for everyone. The work is novel and requires discipline and open minds. Cool opportunities.

Cons

The company grew fast and built the infrastructure by staffing to build which is done and that has meant layoffs. There’s been confusion with some employees not realizing it’s a start up.

Pros

Work from home gives flexibility

Cons

Mismanagement of the company by the CEO and entire SLT who have no basic understanding of how to deliver a tech solution. We have experienced numerous layoffs this year and after each one we are told that if we survived, we are on the bus only to see more layoffs shortly follow. After this last one it is clear things are dire and it is time to find a new job. The CEO, a self admitted failure in all aspects of her life, is lashing out at employees under the pressure. She is unable to come to terms with how her poor leadership and constant pivoting in the wrong direction have now put us in a situation where we only have a smoke and mirrors solution to peddle in an attempt to make year end numbers. There is no product there! It is really ironic she was giving company wide leadership training. Our CIO and COO have overinflated egos who bully their way into solutions that consistently fail and have been a contributing factor in the company's demise. I’m not sticking around to watch this place go down in flames.
