Pros

Zevia is a great company to work for because the interview process was very easy and straight forward, they offer great benefits for their employees, the culture of the company is very upbeat and everyone is very welcoming the moment you step in, and management is very open to listening to any questions you may have about anything. Management is also very flexible with your schedule. There is also great opportunity for growth within the company. If you like to be challenged and enjoy seeing growth in your position, Zevia is a great place to work.

Cons

I cannot think of any cons that come with working at Zevia, it has been a great experience from the beginning!

Pros

brilliant leadership excellent coworkers vision for moving forward

Cons

massive turnover in 2022 & 2023, which was a combination of firings, lay offs, and quitting. There was quite a bit of infighting within management as well.

Pros

Their products are really delicious.

Cons

I took a risk leaving my position at a large CPG company to join Zevia, but unfortunately, it did not pay off. I encountered all the challenges of working for a smaller company that's trying to play catch-up in a highly competitive market. Leadership sets aggressive deadlines, forcing the entire team to work against impossible timelines. This pressure extends to vendors, cross-functional partners, and coworkers. The result is a poor work-life balance, with overtime and weekend work becoming the norm to meet these deadlines. Zevia is so focused on achieving its company goals that employee training and support are virtually non-existent; they simply don't have time for it. I was thrown into projects I had no prior experience with, given minimal training, and a short timeline to learn. Despite requesting more training and support, I was told by my manager that Zevia is a “learn-as-you-go” company. I leaned in and did my best to learn on the job but was then criticized for not meeting expectations. This led to a toxic environment where my manager nit-picked my work and micromanaged me.
