Pros

The company's commitment to live out its core values is significant and, ultimately, very refreshing. Zevia strives to operate professionally, without losing its sense of care for its employees. Here are some highlights: -High mutual respect: The people here are kind and very happy to help one another. -Profound teamwork: The team environment is supported, instilled with thoughtfulness and amazing support. -Heartfelt generosity: Zevia is very thoughtful regarding ways to directly help the community at large. Being a part of Zevia is a tremendous joy and privilege. Thankful to be working for such a great company.

Cons

The pandemic has caused most of us to work from home. Albeit the issue is outside of Zevia's control, the company has responded with the highest level of precaution, which is much appreciated. The company culture is still one of positivity and connection, despite being physically apart, and Zevia makes a concerted effort to support ways for employees to connect virtually.

Pros

brilliant leadership excellent coworkers vision for moving forward

Cons

massive turnover in 2022 & 2023, which was a combination of firings, lay offs, and quitting. There was quite a bit of infighting within management as well.

Pros

Their products are really delicious.

Cons

I took a risk leaving my position at a large CPG company to join Zevia, but unfortunately, it did not pay off. I encountered all the challenges of working for a smaller company that's trying to play catch-up in a highly competitive market. Leadership sets aggressive deadlines, forcing the entire team to work against impossible timelines. This pressure extends to vendors, cross-functional partners, and coworkers. The result is a poor work-life balance, with overtime and weekend work becoming the norm to meet these deadlines. Zevia is so focused on achieving its company goals that employee training and support are virtually non-existent; they simply don't have time for it. I was thrown into projects I had no prior experience with, given minimal training, and a short timeline to learn. Despite requesting more training and support, I was told by my manager that Zevia is a “learn-as-you-go” company. I leaned in and did my best to learn on the job but was then criticized for not meeting expectations. This led to a toxic environment where my manager nit-picked my work and micromanaged me.
