Pros

Hype in the valley as an up-and-comer so opened doors for interviews during the job search process.

Cons

Leadership in the C-suite is extremely poor. The market is still developing for this point solution and the recent round of funding is evidence of that. The company has been around for seven years now and the growth rate/revenue still don't support an IPO. The company does a good job spinning this but the facts are clear. Employee turnover is a huge problem; particularly in the sales org.

It is unfortunate that you feel that you've had a bad experience. We always look to invest in our people and continue to improve our professional environment. We're proud to have won a Glassdoor Employer's Choice Award for the 2nd year in a row which we hope is a reflection of how our 500+ other employees are feeling. Our total $250M investment from Tier 1 VC's and Institutional Wealth Management Investors validates that the Subscription Economy has gone mainstream. Zuora's RBM is the only cloud solution that integrates with business applications infrastructure across the global enterprise.

Pros

I love working at Zuora! The energy here is always exciting, and my colleagues make the environment fun and engaging. Since going private, there’s been noticeable acceleration across the company, which makes getting things done much easier and more rewarding. Most people bring a great attitude to their work, and leadership does a fantastic job of incentivizing hard work with competitive pay. On top of that, the projects I’m involved in are both challenging and genuinely interesting—it’s a place where I feel motivated and valued every day.

Cons

There have definitely been some challenges, including layoffs and the reality of long hours and hard work. Not everyone seems equally energized, and while most leaders are excellent, a few could be stronger. Global resourcing also creates hurdles—although the teams across regions are highly skilled, time zone differences can make collaboration and execution more difficult at times.
