Pros

A smaller team that works great together, with clearly defined processes and a very supportive team culture!

Cons

Working fully remote gets lonely sometimes, but the annual team meet up really helps to bond the team and help you feel connected.

Pros

For me, being apart of the iamota team carries a huge pro in itself. I was fortunate enough to be welcomed into a talented group of like minded individuals who continue to challenge my skill set. As a contractor, I have also highly appreciated being treated as If I where one of their employees. Participating in their companies quarterly goals, setting my own and having private one on ones has provided me with so much more then “just another portfolio piece”. It also doesn’t hurt that the location is close to the skytrain, the shop is brand new and they take beer (or Palm Bay) Fridays seriously.

Cons

If you are always cold like me, then a sweater/socks/electric blanket are a must as sometimes the shop can be on the chilly side.

Pros

- Always interesting projects coming down the pipe. - Opportunity for career advancement & learning new skills. - Newly renovated office & great location downtown. - Employees have modern hardware (Macbooks or PC, your choice I think?). - Coworkers are cool, interesting people. Great dynamic in the office. - Very good work-life balance; never asked to work weekends. - Access to gym facilities for crazy discount.

Cons

- Working downtown is not for everyone. - Some might consider the 8:30 AM start time "early". (Having a hard time filling the 20 word minimum)
