Pros
If you want to always feel challenged. The projects were never trivial and my team were always challenged with world-class tasks. 1. Exposed to new challenges for each project. 2. Many of the challenges were the kind that you won’t find off-shelf solutions for. 3. Overtime compensation were accurately calculated and the way it was calculated was transparent. 4. I took a number of paid courses and didn’t pay a penny. 5. The offices were always of high profile and great hygiene. 6. Managers always flat management style, no weird high-rank hierarchy, which many times had it’s benefits TBH.
Cons
1. The selection from non-local Universities were somehow biased. 2. Hiring candidates and employees from the GUC always caused major troubles, yet they were always getting hired! 3. My colleagues from GUC were always tolerated more than others.
