Pros

Yes, it's still retail, but they attract positive, awesome, fun people to work there, so it's almost always a great time. Your experience is completely up to you, if you want to coast, then you'll coast, if you want to take on more responsibilities, the possibilities are far reaching and transferable; from event planning, to inventory control and operations, to grass roots marketing and social media marketing. All in a super supportive environment that pushes you to triumph through inspiration instead of a fear of failure. Also, if you love working out- the workout budget is great; so many free workouts!

Cons

While you can take on as much as you're able and then some, your pay will not reflect everything you're taking on. Management does a great job of making its people feel appreciated, however it is still retail at the end of the day, and you will be paid accordingly. In regards to the "cult culture"- if you are the type of person who is susceptible to such a thing, then yes, it might feel that way at times. Like any company their is a certain language spoken and unwritten rules to follow; you have to play the game to get far. For a place that sells stretchy pants, you deal with much more emotional nonsense than you might think. That being said, if you can get the job done, and work well with others, you can make it your way.

Pros

The benefits with the sweaty Pursuits is good and the insurance is good too! You get a team that you get to put together and get to know them and see what works for you guys to be successful in a processing shift!

Cons

The nights are long and very overworked. They ask a lot from you and usually they put the business before you. It’s always we need this and that from the managers but not actually taking time to help or to actually see that we are trying our best and if they actually worked a shift with us and saw the struggles they would understand more. They think it’s easy, when the weight of the store depends on us. You are also qualified as a Guest Experience lead since you have to do both trainings so the management do over utilise that and you will be doing two jobs. Even though it says in the description to support the floor but there’s a difference between supporting from time to time and doing it all the time where you are running the floor and the back at the same time but they’ll say “oh why isn’t this done?” Maybe because you’ve told me to help you out ? The are also very selective about who moves up to be a manager. No work life balance at all!
