      Sacking everyone in Australia

      Pros

      Free meal and booze once a week.

      Cons

      Bought out three Australia tech companies and told employees their jobs were secure. Not true. Only bought companies which also had offices in cheap labour countries because only truly interested in those offices. Every fortnight another Aussie is sacked. Told not to worry. Yeah right. Don't believe it.

      Pros

      Still some great people working at the company in Australia. Monthly lifestyle allowance.

      Cons

      Leadership quality in Australia has taken a hit since latest integrations, dominated by less competent senior managers that joined through most recent M&A from Mudbath who lack care for people and make snap decisions. Sales pipeline is an ongoing challenge. Salaries have been mostly stagnant for 18 months. Centralised functions in Romania are painful to work with from a time zone perspective. The lack of diversity in Endava’s exec leadership team is embarrassing.

      2023/24 Culture Death

      Pros

      - Mudbath & Lexicon people that are left on shore are awesome - Flexible remote work - Middle managers for Project Delivery & Software are genuine people - Events (when they happen) are usually good fun - Management tried to focus on people who were already half out the door during redundancies, most people with families were spared where possible

      Cons

      - ~55 redundancies in 4 months (June/July 2024) - Melbourne lost heavy office culture team members during redundancies - Sydney always complains about not having managers - All raises, promotions, advancement has stopped in the last 12 months - Europe has to approve any/everything
