Pros
I have worked for about 7 startups and Eve Legal is the real deal. Here is what impresses me in my first few weeks: -The Founders are incredibly smart, driven and empathetic. They are genuinely great human beings and I really enjoy working with them. -The product(s) are innovative and impactful, ARR has grown over 200% in 2024, w/ similar growth planned for 2025 -Pay is competitive and there is a 401k match (never seen that at a startup) -Small team (20 ppl in company) so wide swim lanes, you can work on a lot of things you won't do/see at larger companies -Hybrid work, 2-3 days per week in San Mateo, but flexible times, I go in at 10 and leave at 6 or 6:30 to miss traffic, works fine and I find the office to be really energizing
Cons
-health benefits are good/solid, love to have 100% covered, but that is rare at startups -you won't have much process/systems to work from, which I guess can be a pro because you can build what you like, but there are some startup opportunities (onboarding is not as mature and established as it could be, training and L&D is still being established
