Pros

- Flexibility - Company allows very very flexible working conditions. If you want you can work from home full time. - A little higher pay than industry - The partners in the company are super nice.

Cons

1. Very VERY Disrespectful. You will be continuously told that - "We do not trust you" - so why would you hire someone? 2. There is an expectation to work more hours than what they say in the offer letter. They don't see how much actual work is being done, but only check your MS Teams status, if you're online after hours, and late into the night. 3. Team Managers are very poor at their communication. Constantly keep changing their mind, and at times have no idea what the client wants. This improper communication makes a constant cycle of reworking, and late hours, and all the blame will be thrown at you. And if you point out their mistakes, then more disrespect to follow. 4. No appreciation at all. Period! 5. Gaslighting - You will be thought to believe that you are wrong. Every step / action that you take will somehow become wrong, and you will start second guessing yourself. 6. Partners refuse to take action against certain individuals who have a very bad track-record, and are willing to let people go instead. As other reviews say, your mental well being is going to suffer a lot, if you keep working , especially under some EVPs.

Pros

- Some (few) directors are good people but they can't cope with so many injustices and disproportions from the partners.

Cons

- They never cared about the welfare of the workers, when there were many complaints they suggested buying a ping pong table. - Racist leaders, belittle many workers of color. - Most people in top positions are family, many incompetent. - Disproportionate number of managers. There are around 5 partners, 5 vice presidents and only 10 analysts. - For a long time I didn't get paid for the overtime I worked. - Too much work and no growth plan. The people who get promoted are because their dads are golf buddies of the owners. - Low salaries - Little collaboration and a lot of judgment, finger pointing and passive aggressiveness if you make a mistake.

We, the Management Group at Explorer Research, felt it necessary and urgent to reply to this inaccurate review of our company. This review makes irresponsible claims of discrimination and nepotism as it relates to our company culture and advancement. We take great exception to these statements and stand firmly behind our values, and more importantly, the reality of what is ‘actually’ taking place at Explorer Research. Over one-third of our employees – that we know of – are a visible minority or have identified themselves as a minority. Our posted ‘Commitment to Diversity, Equality and Inclusion’ is more than a policy … it is a foundational commitment from which we make important decisions that meaningfully affect our company, and most importantly, our people. Advancement at Explorer is offered based, in part, on our commitment to a more diverse workforce, at every level of our organization. Advancement is also always offered in response to achievement, hard work and loyalty. We recognize that we are not a perfect company, however, we are working diligently to listen to our employees and to improve. We take all constructive feedback seriously and consistently do what needs to be done to be better. In this case, however, we believe the statements made in this review are factually inaccurate and we feel it is necessary to set the record straight.

Pros

Only pro to this company is that you can gain some experience if you are a fresher. If you have experience then DO NOT join this company.

Cons

1. They have unrealistic methods of analysis which only they do and except you to learn that from day 1. 2. If you do not know everything on day 1 then they will be extremely rude and disrespectful to you. 3. There has become a core group at explorer who have now risen to be apart of top management and they will talk however they want to you because they think they are 3. The pattern of disrespect will persist through out your tenure you work here. 4. Working hours are always long and they will promise any unrealistic timelines to the clients and then expect you to meet them. 5. Even after working longer hours and weekends instead of appreciating you they will counter question on why this took so much time. Entire teams do not like working longer hours and weekends. If it could be done in lesser time the team would’ve done it. 6. The partners at this company are very nice but it’s the top management such as certain VP’s and Executive VP’s who think too much about themselves. IF YOU TAKING A JOB HERE BE PREPARED TO GET DEPRESSED AND HAVE AFFECT YOUR OVERALL WELL-BEING
