The founders have no idea what they are doing and have one thing on their mind: grow enough to sell. One of them focuses on acquisitions and the other on operations. The acquisitions team, at least during my time there, was sending out LOIs to multiple brands and few that actually made sense or were even remotely close to the sustainability mission of Flora. The other founder, working more in operations, has zero management experience and relies more on what a quick Google search can tell him versus what his experienced employees suggest. Micromanagement is a major issue and there is no trust in those on the team. For example, he wrote an email for an employee to send, word for word, thinking that employee couldn't do it themselves when said employee had multiple more years of experience.
