Pros

Because of the level of incompetence and lack of professionalism, it’s easy to stand out of the crowd.

Cons

Run from this place. The company’s senior management are totally in disagreement, some have a bigger pull than others, and the company is so disorganized and doesn’t communicate. In addition, the pay is horrendous and they are so cheap. I currently work here and have been thinking of leaving this organization as it’s getting worse every year: they say they care, but they really don’t, you are destined to drown. Lack of leadership, lack of communication standards and resources. It’s impossible to do my job when half of the people don’t know what they are doing, and they just screw around every day. Everyone backstabs everyone, trust me and run from this organization as fast as you can. They are not going to change not even if they say that they are going to change; their philosophy is for you to sink and figure out how to swim. Lack of support in every aspect and the higher the management is, the more corruption and scandals there are. This organization is filled with incompetent leaders who just collect a paycheck and simply put DONT care about employees, members and others in general. I can’t stress this enough: run for your life.

Training is Awful

Pros

Not sure there are any?

Cons

I’m supposed to be part time but training is full time. Also after being hired I was told I may be working 35+. I will quit if that happens. I agreed to 25hrs. Now the training, it’s 2 weeks! If you have worked at a bank or haven’t this training is overly excessive! It’s also totally unnecessary to drag it out for 2 weeks. 2 weeks 8 hrs of just milked info that could have been learned in branch or departments. I’d rather work for a big bank and be considered a number.

We appreciate your feedback and take your concerns very seriously. In an effort to successfully onboard new employees and provide a detailed overview of our culture, history, and expectations, we have all employees participate in our employee Onboarding program. This expectation is communicated in the interview process. Our leadership/management staff ensures that all part-time employees are adhering to a part-time schedule which is up to 30hrs a week. We have an open door policy and invite you to reach out to Human Resources.

Pros

Flexible hours Time off accrues quickly after 1st year Reasonable work load for some employees (see cons section below) Good health and 401k benefits if you go with Kaiser (see cons section below for Sharp).

Cons

Low pay. Upper management either doesn't see what we see, or they do not care. Very resistant to remote work. Work loads are not evenly spread. Some employees bear very high work loads. Very high turnover. No opportunities for advancement in my position. Can't learn new skills in my position. Too much forced fake work culture. Health insurance for the Sharp plan steadily reduced coverage over time to the point that they won't even give me a COVID booster in my primary doctor's office. They want the county to pay for it. I hear the Kaiser plan is good, though.
