Not worth the money.

Pros

Owners are responsive. You don’t do your own scheduling.

Cons

Extremely long Hours. You are expected at the office and hour before your first appointment, usually 7 am. You then are scheduled to groom from 8-6. Then you have to drive back to the office, fill up the tank, clean the van, all usually alone at night in a big warehouse in a shady area of downtown. You usually aren’t done until about 7-8 pm. They will book you a LOT of big dogs that honestly shouldn’t even be being done in the van, as well as booking aggressive dogs without warning you. They do not verify rabies vaccinations. However, my biggest issue, they are commission based but they ALSO take a “transport” fee per house/dog of $40 ($15 per additional dog at each house). So, for example, on a small dog where it is charged $90, they take $40 off the top, making your sales $50, then you get half of that. so on a $90 ticket, you as the groomer and the driver thats away from home for over 12 hours a day, 5 days a week, are making $25 on a small dog. That’s insulting. For a 5 day work week, again nearly 60 hours a week, pay was under $1000. Oh the average day, about $200 in “transport fees” are taken from your sales. they say this is to cover “gas and insurance” but gas was always less than $50 a day, and I doubt insurance is 4k a month for just one groomer. (200/day over a months time is nearly 4k). ON TOP OF THE 50% COMMISSION THEYRE ALREADY TAKING OUT. Feels like you’re paying their business fees. Hard work not worth the time and work put in

Pros

If you love grooming you won't if you work here long. Run remotely run very badly by people that do not know anything about the grooming industry. Cheap labor you'll get fired for stupid reasons or you'll quit because they never fix the problems that you will continue to complain about for days, weeks and months if you last that long. If you do care about the way you groom and handle matted dogs you'll get fired because your not doing 5-8 dogs a day and working 12-14 hours a day. You'll be driving for 2 hours and not getting paid for it to get to appointments. They don't know how to schedule dogs realistically. They will set you up to fail. Pay is not good. You won't make a living doing what you love unless you cut corners and do a speed groom and hope the client don't notice. Groomer turnover is 2-6 months

Cons

Bad management and owner. Pay is awful not fair. You can find a better place to work. You won't be here for long. Others steal your things. management/owner doesn't care about you or dogs safety. They guilt trip you into putting your life and the dogs life in danger working in 90+ degree weather with no air conditioner in van. Make you trouble shoot the mechanics of the vehicle and the power system losing pay by canceling your paying grooms to do their job for free risking your life and safety. They DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU!!!!

Pros

Good pay, good management, good tips, full time employees get benefits, good booking system, good for introverted groomers that want to minimize sounds/interaction with other people.

Cons

It can take a while to get your supplies restocked so you must tell them before you’re almost out and remind them often, parts break and can take a while to fix/replace, call center sometimes messes up the schedule so review your appointments daily
