Pros

Good UW turn times Competent, reliable tech support

Cons

Poor quality, quantity, and availability of marketing content. The "Hub" (company website/central employee resource) is neglected, at this time there is still no material demonstrating the rebranding. Rapid company expansion in 2018 has caused an overextension of the corporate office's resources. This has become functionally apparent in the capabilities and capacities of certain departments (marketing, disclosures, etc). Reasonable to expect a tumultuous year ahead as company adjusts to the recent overgrowth. The repercussions will most likely have a disproportionate impact on loan officers; they tend to be the individuals that are in direct contact with clients and thus their business is directly affected by their reputation.

Branch Manager was a tyrant

Pros

I liked the people I worked with over the phone including the underwriters, help desk, IT, advertising, and even the CEO and CFO were fantastic

Cons

They hire any LO that applies, my direct "branch manager" was a hot tempered tyrant who had frequent outbursts not only to me directly but to the underwriters and other people working behind the scenes. I had objected many times to his behavior, requested that he changed and even showed an immense amount of patience hoping for change because I really loved this company. Finally had enough and left and called the CFO to report this branch manager's abusive behavior, in addition to other behavior that apparently was unfounded as he still works for the company. His behaviors also included his bad mouthing every female LO he ever came across in this company, frequently calling them names and degrading them, boasting his intellect and how much more he makes than anyone (a real Donald Trump!) Unreal!!! No trust in higher management and God forbid you are a woman in this industry, you will for sure be squashed like a bug and muted indefinitely with no help at all.

Pros

Not many to list at all.

Cons

A lot, you will be tongue lashed and belittled and insulted all the time by the owners and management and I mean borderline abuse! Loan officers best of luck. Commission is based by inflating rates. Processors, you're on your own. UW what few there are, overworked. And outside branches, you are on your own. You should have known better will fall at every turn. Unacceptable ! RUDE and extremely unprofessional. No direction, no training, no solid sources. Some folks are great to work with, the rest, NO. Health insurance, very costly more than other companies almost to the point of Cobra. Always ask before you accept about the cost and coverage. Lack of positive communication. If you are salary you will work OT and not be compensated even with a small bonus. Positive reviews see them clumped, those are added. Glad I am gone the whole environment was toxic. GOOD LUCK !
