      No receptionist, no secretaries and the worst clients I have experienced

      Pros

      The staff all get along well and there is a good collegiate atmosphere (excluding the CEO, who is unpredictable and demanding)

      Cons

      You will be expected from day 1 to install all sorts of apps on your phone (that you aren’t reimbursed in any way for) that make you available to message 24/7 by all staff and clients. Don’t be surprised at a 9pm message from the CEO on Friday night complaining about your billings if you have had an off week! The Russian CEO is more a businessman than a lawyer, and there is very little in the way of experienced staff so don’t expect quality mentoring.

      Pros

      The offices are reasonably located (though severely lacking in staff and resources).

      Cons

      Poor pay, terrible management (the owner is Russian and very inexperienced as a lawyer), clients who are attracted to the ‘fixed fee’ and ‘payment plan’ options and therefore demanding and unreasonable, no admin staff, you are forced to use apps to communicate with clients who therefore expect you to be available 24/7, absolutely insane file loads, poor reputation amongst other lawyers, the list goes on...
