Pros
Many experience vacuums and opportunities for promotions Co-workers are very hard working and talented. We all worked very well together. Work life balance was pretty decent ( but not for all )
Cons
Sheesh.. What a decline. This company was doing great, up until certain managers were put in place, who are simply rude, arrogant and toxic. Specifically and most recently, engineering and service delivery. These individuals are the most rude, arrogant, self-serving and political individuals I’ve ever encountered. Senior management just lets them bully their way into these positions while not being able to perform. Senior management is essentially on autopilot while they ruin and destroy morale. There are people put in positions who simply piggy back off of others ideas/work. When it goes right, they’re taking the credit! When it goes wrong.. well, let’s just say it wasn’t necessarily a ‘team effort’. The solutions are quite.. archaic. All this company knows how to do and is comfortable with doing is on-premise. Not picking what’s best for the customer, or what makes sense in regards to the scenario; Simply what the “talent” is capable of supporting due to low wage of employees. For example, 30 site to site VPNs with broken replication across 5-6 domain controllers, file servers or hosts. Management doesn’t care at all. They just care about politicking and gaining more money/promotions. They do not show any proof of the company improving. They will lie, and say it is, and create problems, then fix them, just to say it’s “getting better,” while leaving the real issues to pile up. It’s the wild, wild west at this place. If you’re entry level, stick around for a year, and get out if you know what’s good for you.
